About Us
Adelaide Chinese Senior College is a registered Australian charity and community-based organisation dedicated to promoting healthy ageing, lifelong learning, wellbeing and social inclusion for culturally diverse seniors across South Australia.
Operated by SA Asian Senior Learning Centre Inc. (ABN 33 863 362 720), we have grown rapidly since our establishment in December 2024 to 463 registered members as of July 2026.
Our Mission
To promote healthy ageing, lifelong learning and social inclusion by providing educational, cultural, recreational and support services that empower seniors to remain active, connected and valued members of the community.

Our instructors bring years of professional experience and a genuine passion for working with seniors. Every teacher is committed to creating a welcoming, supportive environment.
Experienced Yang Style Tai Chi practitioner with over 10 years of teaching experience. Specialises in senior-friendly adaptations for balance and mobility.
Energetic and beloved instructor leading square dancing across three Adelaide locations. Known for making every session fun and inclusive.
Patient and dedicated English instructor teaching both beginner and intermediate levels. Focuses on practical, everyday English for life in Australia.
Founder of Sure Dance School with over 15 years of teaching experience. Brings professional-level choreography to community dance programs.
Skilled Hulusi player who makes learning this traditional Chinese instrument accessible and enjoyable for complete beginners.
Passionate vocal coach who creates a joyful, supportive choir environment. Believes everyone can sing — and should!
Professional photographer who teaches seniors how to use cameras and smartphones to capture beautiful moments.
Specialises in gentle exercise programs for older adults — stretching, mobility, and fall prevention tailored to individual abilities.

We support seniors beyond the classroom — helping navigate aged care, digital literacy, and wellbeing services. We are a genuine community service organisation.
Help understanding and accessing My Aged Care services, including home care packages and residential care options.
Information and referrals for in-home support services — cleaning, meal delivery, personal care, and home modifications.
One-on-one help with smartphones, computers, online banking, MyGov, and staying connected with family online.
Information and referral pathways for seniors experiencing financial, emotional, or physical abuse. You are not alone.
Programs designed to connect isolated seniors with community activities, peer support groups, and social outings.
Not sure where to turn? We can point you to the right government and community services for your situation.
Free JP services for seniors — document witnessing, statutory declarations, certified copies, and guidance on government forms. Available by appointment.

All seniors are welcome! Most classes require no prior experience. Just bring your enthusiasm.
We are a not-for-profit community organisation. Some classes may have a small fee to cover venue and materials. Contact us for details.
No. Our terms are aligned with SA public school terms. Classes pause during school holidays and public holidays.
Absolutely! You're welcome to attend a trial session. Just contact us or drop by during class time.
No — most of our instructors speak Mandarin. Our English classes are designed specifically for Chinese-speaking seniors who want to build confidence.
